How to use the mozaik3D application

After installing the application, simply open it to begin exploring our educational 3D scenes. While you can try our demo scenes without registration, signing up for a free user account enables you to access 5 new scenes every week.

The main page of the app allows you to filter 3D scenes by topic or use the search function to find a specific scene. Tapping the play button will open the selected scene. The sidebar menu provides options to change the language, provide feedback, and rate the app.

Our fully interactive 3D scenes offer the ability to rotate, enlarge, and view them from pre-set angles. Navigating through these complex scenes is made easier with our predefined views. Some scenes even feature a Walk mode, allowing you to explore them on your own. Most of our 3D scenes include narrations, built-in animations, captions, entertaining quizzes, and other engaging visual elements. Additionally, the app is available in multiple languages, providing an excellent opportunity to learn and practice foreign languages.

To activate VR mode, simply press the VR headset icon in the bottom right corner of the app. Place your phone in a compatible VR headset and transport yourself to ancient Athens, the Globe Theatre, or even the surface of the Moon. (Please note that for a complete VR experience, a device with a gyroscope is recommended.)

How to use the 3D scenes

• Rotate the scene by dragging your finger.
• Zoom in or out by pinching with your fingers.
• Shift your view by dragging the scene with three fingers.
• Switch between predefined views by tapping the buttons at the bottom.
• If available for a specific view, use the virtual joystick to move around.
• Access the internal menu and change settings by touching the bottom corners of the screen.
• Activate VR mode by pressing the VR headset icon in the bottom right corner.
• In VR mode, tilt your head to the right or left to display the navigation panel. Look down to turn movement on or off during Walk mode.
